Cerebral Palsy Day campaign
World CP Day is an opportunity for the whole world to come together to recognize and celebrate the 17 million people around the world living with cerebral palsy. On October 6th every year, individuals, families and organizations celebrate by sharing stories, hosting events, and wearing the color of green. For more than 5 years we support our friends from “Uniquely Abled Center” and “Regional Alliance for Cerebral Palsy” by organizing and rolling-out massive nationwide PR campaign supported by RTS Radio Television Serbia, Radio Belgrade, Politika, Studio B, BBC, Looker Weekly, Mondo, Biznis i Finansije, Pink, Nedeljnik, Blic, N1, Happy, Prva, Studio B, Nova, N1, Danas, Kurir, KCN, Telegraf, Radio Television Vojvodina, Ilustrovana Politika, Večernje Novosti, and many other respective media.
The media in Serbia broadcasted live activities and events within their programs, while representatives of the “Regional Alliance for CP” and “Uniquely Abled Center” were hosted live and in parallel on several TV and radio channels, by securing significantly large media coverage and nationwide awareness.
Serbian architectural landmarks such as Ada Bridge, Albania Palace building, Slavija Square Fountain and National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, were colored in green – as support and recognition for people affected by cerebral palsy.
Over the years, we have established media relations with local, regional and international press, newswires and agencies. We aim to support media by providing relevant briefs, news and releases, and cooperate directly with journalists and press. By working together we prepare full material and details in order to properly brief journalists and support during creation of news and articles. For every news, here at Foster + Svensson we prepare relevant media plan for our clients in order to find proper media, for which audience news might be relevant. Since founding of Foster + Svensson we nurture our relations with colleagues at press. We stand together for independent news and knowledge sharing. Also, we always aim to create press releases and information which will not be perceived as advertising, but as an useful information or news relevant for the public and the audience.
We remain proud for supporting “Uniquely Abled Center” and “Regional Alliance for Cerebral Palsy” in securing agile and live media nationwide coverage for more than 5 years.
