Select Milk packaging design
Until the beginning of WW II, Serbia had 1.8 million goats and this livestock branch was very developed. During 1954, the law prohibited the holding of goats and all of them had to be destroyed. France, the largest producer of goat milk products and the highest quality cheeses, today has over 1 million goats, while Serbia has only recently surpassed the number of 100.000. Yet this is more than enough to produce high quality products from goat milk like goat’s cheese.
For “Select Milk dairy”, Foster + Svensson designed packaging for high volume batch products. Focus in this category was to create packaging with high aesthetics, sophisticated, yet to have minimal design. As such, it should be more visible among other competitor products on the store shelf, which creates visual noise due to saturated packaging design, colors and elements. Having cheese packaging which will be minimal, white and clean will lead towards more visibility among noise on the store shelf.
