World Brand Design Society selects Apothecary brand design refresh as a Featured Project

London, United Kingdom — The Apothecary brand design refresh and visual identity system has been selected as a Featured Project by the World Brand Design Society (WBDS), with the project editorially featured on the platform’s homepage.

This editorial recognition represents another international acknowledgement of the project, placing it alongside work from internationally recognised design studios and independent practitioners. The featured selection highlights projects distinguished by strategic clarity, distinctive visual and thinking and consistently high standards of execution across the discipline of brand design.

The Apothecary identity refresh was conceived as a complete brand system rather than a visual update alone. The work established a refined visual language built around clarity, consistency and long-term flexibility, enabling the brand to evolve across digital platforms, retail environments, packaging and future product development while preserving a coherent identity.

The project demonstrates how a contemporary pharmacy and beauty retailer can communicate confidence through restraint, using precision instead of decoration and systems instead of individual graphic gestures. Every element, from typography and colour to layout principles and brand architecture, was designed to work together as part of a scalable identity capable of supporting future growth.

Rather than pursuing change for its own sake, the project focused on strengthening recognition, improving consistency and establishing a design framework capable of supporting the brand over time.
