Almaks is an engineering company involved in security industry since 1991. It was established by a group of electrical engineers who were part of the Institute of Applied Physics; these engineers also participated in the development of security systems designed for the Serbian military and the police.

Almaks is specialized in fire and burglary alarm systems, video surveillance, aerosol fire extinguishing systems, access control, perimeter protection, intercom systems, smart home and hotel room systems, structured cabling, GPS vehicle and money transport tracking systems, integrated technical protection systems and monitoring. Almaks reference list covers both private and government sectors covering clients such as Telekom Serbia, Raiffeisen Bank, NIS, Ericsson, Vinča Nuclear Research Institute, Hydroelectric Power Station Đerdap, Power Plant complex Nikola Tesla, video surveillance systems for the cities of Belgrade, Čačak and Paraćin, military objects and embassies.
